What hormone influences the test result of an OPK?

Luetenizing Hormone and OPK's

Luetenizing hormone is what an ovulation predictor kit uses to predit when ovulation will occur. Many women will have a surge of the hormone about 2 or 3 days before ovulation actually occurs. The kits will register a positive test result when this hormone surges.
